Southwestern style construction is very popular in New Mexico. It is very traditional in adobe or pueblo style construction. Wsx is generally involved with the wood and timber aspects commonly seen in New Mexico. We build portals, ramadas, arbors, pergolas, carports, gates and gateways, doorways and furniture to match. Carports and portals are most common, consisting of vigas handcarved posts or square rough sawn posts with corbels attached to help support the vigas or beams laid horizontally. Latillas are often laid on top as a semi roof to provide shade. There are literally hundreds of styles to build as seen in some of the photos to the right.
